First Timer

My name is Josh and I am new to this group. Having raced motorcycles and cars 
(legal and otherwise) for several years and losing interested I decided maybe 
land racing was for me.

My question is: would a 5.0 Mustang be a worthwhile project? I am after no 
records whatsoever, I just want to have fun and make new friends. A 200mph 
club spot would be great too. But I'm not all about competition at this 
point. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
