Yes, contamination can happen if you aren't careful. Those folks with the
philosophy "If a little is good, more is better, and too much is just
enough" would get in trouble with Loctite or with tape.
I think Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid had that philosophy about dynamite
when they blew up the safe in the railroad express car.
There's art and elegance in well-made hard line plumbing. You've gotta be
reeeaaall good to do that well!
