It seems the spousal unit has granted me the permission to purchase that
REALLY nice 15 gal. compressor at Costco along with their $90 air tool
package (how come we empower them so much???)

I appreciate all the recommendations for the electric die grinder.

Now I'm going the air way ... hard-piping around the shop here-we-come!!
