Another Dumb Question - Number and Class Letters

I see that the numbers have to be at least 3 inches high and the class
designators adjacent. So Does that mean I can put the numbers on one line
and right below that the class designators?

                   C / BFMS

Like that? One on each door sufficient or does the hood need one also?
