I have a 1968 Mustang axle that would fit my Studebaker like a glove. It has 3.0 gears and to the best of my knowledge, it is an 8". Will a 9" pumpkin swap into that housing? I need to get a little higher in gear ratio - really need a 2.50 to keep my RPM where I want them at the speed I want to reach.
