With regard to the "location near Wendover" you can be assured that I have
not hired the Lake Bonneville course for next weeks attempt (in the first
week of May!). After Tunisia I do make sure that my clients get the best
advice as to when to make a bid on any particular location.

I am told that we may however be getting into the snow line a couple of
thousand feet higher than the salt flats elevation, when we will use a
highway course for this attempt. Snow might be a problem for traction, but
the electric car will otherwise work well at this higher altitude.

We are being assisted by MKM Racing Promotions of Las Vegas who operate open
road rally events in Nevada and they have facilitated the use of the road
surface.

Historical note - the fastest FIA speed record set on a highway (autobahn as
Pork Pie let me know near Dessau) is about 271 mph average of two runs.
