I have long maintained that the CJR3 was used on some late PBs. My PB
(PB0560)came with a CJR3, along with an engraved plate mounted on a very
original firewall under the cutout. There is no way anyone but the factory
or dealer would have gone to so much trouble to replace a CJR2 with a CJR3.
I don't believe there is any significant difference in wiring.
Cheers,
Lew Palmer

Subject: Wiring
The P and N types came with a CJR2 cutout and a Rotax PLC2 ignition switch.
Can a more reasonably priced CJR3 cutout for a TA be substituted, and if so,
what modifications need to be made to the switch or cutout wiring to assure
a properly charging circuit? Has anyone on the list successfully done this
modification? - Jack Simpson
