that rattle may be rod bearings getting ready to die...but then I know a B
that had that rattle, it was rod bearings, and it lived for 30k or so before
getting bad enough to need attention....
then again it could be lifters, hard to tell without hearing it, but get
someone local who _knows Bs_ and doesn't have anything to gain by the
diagnosis to be sure.
BTW You should be running 20W-50 oil and changing with a good quality filter
(not a cheapo Fram or something, go to a decent parts house!) every 3k at
least, and keep your eye on the oil pressure, any significant drop from where
it is shows signs of big trouble. Bs (at least with oil in the sump) should
run over 50 psi Hot.
