Subject: setting headlights

I have to reset the headlight/lamps since the MGA was repainted. How do I
do this, I looked in my MGA workshop manual and it was a bit? cryptic. I
know about the three adjustment screws I don't know how to line the lights
up against a wall. At present the lights are too low (I have tightened the
top screw all the way) I can see at night only when they are on bright, dim
allows me to see about only 2 metres in front.
Thanks for all those who helped with my brake light problem, I fitted a
switch for a B at considerable less cost.
