I have an appointment, but in the past I have leaned out the carbs
by four or five flats and retarded the timing to 5degrees BTDC.
It's possible that the requirements for 67 are much more stringent.
in 1993 the requirements were:
measured maximum
hydrocarbons 1170 1200
carbon Mono 0.68 6.50
carbon diox 10.4 -
I did not adjust the timing that time. In 1995 I failed grotesquely
the first time 'cause I wanted to see what I would get in running tune.
After I detuned, I passed with flying colors.
