windscreens

Have followed threads concerning replacement of the roadster 
windscreen.  Did it myself a few years ago...removed and replaced the 
unit on my '77 without removing the dash, but did not replace the 
glass.

My present problem is a '67 rdstr on which I must replace the glass. 
 Certain respondents made a major point of using the proper sealants. 
 My question is: on the body-to-frame seal OR ALSO on the glass to 
rubber and/or rubber to aluminum?
