Eric,
  Let me know what you find out about the open house. I'd like to make
the trip (assuming I can get loose from the job!), and I'm only about 65
miles south of you, on I-85 - Spartanburg, SC.
 I can be at  CMS in about 1 hour, +/-, from here.
