I had the same problem until recently. I needed new pads so I bought those
and then spent an extra $2.95 for those self adhesive brake shims that
MOSS sells (though I bought 'em through Just Brits). I don't have the
squeall that I had before. As to what did it, probably the new pads but
for $2.95 I decided to get the shims, too.
