Hi All,
   I really haven't been following this thread, so if I've missed something
along the way, just ignor my drivel.   Didn't the '77 model year include a
seatbelt interlock that would disable the ignition?  If so, maybe a PO has
bodged a wire around that has come loose.  Don't know if this is the case,
but at least it's something to check on.  It should be easy to check the
power to the coil the test the theory.
