A guy just called saying he heard I was looking for a MG and while I am
more interested in another B, he has a Midget that sounds nice. It is a
70 with rebuilt motor, new paint, new top, running and driving car needing
very little (some interior work - carpet, etc). Supposely all electrics
work, etc. New brakes, exhaust, etc.
While I am not particularly looking for another Midget, I am considering
going tomorrow and looking at the car. The question I have is this. The
way he talked, I can get the car for aroudn $2K which includes two parts
cars as well (motors shot but other DT parts are good). Not sure what I
would do with the two parts cars but does thsi sound reasonable? I hate
to keep asking questions about cars,e tcd but I am just getting back into
MGs and have lost all knowledge of value,e tc of them.
Of course this may be another deal like the GT yesterday buit at least I
only have to drive 15 miles this time :- )
