Front a-arm rubber bushings

In my experience the best way to remove them is to use an arrangement with a
"C" clamp. A BFH dosen't work because the rubber absorbs most of the force
but with a clamp you can load it until the force is great enough to cause the
adhesion between the parts to yeild.
Just did a complete front end on my '76 MGB this past spring, the worst was
getting the new upper bushings between the arms on the shock. I squeezed
them together with a "C" clamp while I used another to force the assembaly
into place. I get out of breath just thinking about it. Again a BFH wont
work here for the same reason.
It sure makes a difference once that job is done, good luck.
