I have had very good service from rebuilt shocks purchased from Brit-Tek.
I talked to the owner about his sourcing and he replied that he uses a

in England as his source of rebuilds.
I tried the Spax and the uprated lever arms over the past few years and last
winter
I changed the suspension back to totally stock (like MG designed it !!!). I
think the stock
configuration works perfectly for a road car which sees occasional spirited
driving.
Uprating the suspension, gives that car a harsher ride, and it can not
absorb the pot-holes/bumps
as well as the stock systems. Here in NJ absorbing pot-holes is an important
facto, especially
as you drive closer to New York City !!!
I used Apple about 10 years ago and was totally disappointed. The front pair
lasted
less than 3 months.
