I'm installing a new cam this winter, and I see that there are Heavy Duty lifters that are offered for sale. Is there that much of a benefit in using the HD type? The HD type has a drain in the side to allow for better lubrication of the cam. Has anyone modified a stock lifter by drilling a hole for oil drainage? I already have a set of brand new stock type lifters. Comments, suggestions? |
