Sorry about that...can anyone help THIS guy?

Hello Kevin,

As I was reading your advert on the web about your MGA Coupe I saw that
you are living in
Connecticut and that intrests me for my MGA Coupe.

I am looking now for a few years to find the roots of my Coupe and I
wrote to many people who could
know something about it, until now without succes.

The Coupe I have (in full restauration ) is a MKII made in 1961 and has
chassisnr
GHDL2 100596.
It was originaly Old English White but when it came to Belgium some 12
to 13 years ago it was
painted in some kind of silvery burgundy. One small other item that
might have some importance is
a small metal badge from the isle of Mallorca which was attached to the
right front wing.

You will think what has this to do with Connecticut ? well the clue that
brings me to your state is a
peace of newspaper I found in the booth. The newspaper was from
Waterbury, Connecticut.
This makes me think that my car was at a certain time in Connecticut,
and I still wonder if someone
knows about it.

It would make me very happy to find out more about it.

Kind regards,
Guido.
