I especially enjoyed the "If you sold your MGB in 1980 what would it be
worth?" advertisement, almost in a tragic sense. How could MG's ad men, in
1965, have so perfectly pinpointed the final production year of the MGB?
My father in-law is a postcard fanatic, and he gave me a mid-sixties MGB
"Safety Fast" postcard from a Cleveland, OH MG dealer. For my Midget, I have
that goofy color brochure with all the rollerskaters. I call it Abingdon
meets Xanadu, I can practically hear Olivia Newton John sing as I look at the
pictures...
