Well, Kai, you brought up my name so I'll jump in here.

I believe the beer is for the party AFTER the newly rebuilt engine is fired 
up.  Several of us Spridget listers just spent a weekend doing a quick 
restoration of a Sprite for a loverly lister in Latrobe, PA, home of Rolling 
Rock.  The beer was on ice in a cooler not 20 feet from the car all day.  We 
drank water, soda or iced tea during the work.  Besides, chuck brought his 
mig welder and a compressor, which do not go well with beer.

I agree with Kai.  Save the beer to celebrate a job well done, then spend the 
night until it wears off.  If you drink and drive, I have no time for you.  
Get off the list!
