Strangely enough they call it "seam sealer".  Unless you are concerned with 
orgionality get a modern product that remains flexible.  Any autobody shop 
will cary some.  3m, Transtar, Fusor and Sem all come to mind.
It adheres well to a variety of surfaces.  I would recoment it over a quality 
2 part primer.  They are intended to be painted over.
