My car has developed a rhythmic thunk that can be felt through the
steering column. It seems to be related to speed as the faster the car
is traveling, the faster it thunks and vice versa. It usually happens
when the car has been running for a while and/or on warm days. And
mostly when the car is traveling straight. Turn the steering wheel
slightly in either direction and it disappears. Any thoughts? Thanks in
