Is the fast idle cam controlled by the choke levers adjusted correctly?

Sometimes merely replacing the throttle shafts with new (i.e. unworn) shafts 
will be enough to eliminate or minimize leaks via the bushes. It will 
require removing and partially dismantling the carbs. You can check whether 
the wear is in the bushes or shafts by sliding the old shaft sideways to 
place an unworn section into the bush and comparing that amount of play to 
when the shafts are in their correct position.
