1 - There's a tube with a bulb at the bottom of the fresh air vent, and it is
often clogged. If you get under the car, you should be able to find it. Wear
goggles or some kind of protection when you clean it out to avoid getting a
face-full of gunk.

2 - The front springs are fairly inexpensive, but as long as you're replacing
them, you might want to install new bushings, etc. Brit-Tek
(http://www.brittek.com/frontsuspensionkit.html) has a kit with typical parts
that you might want. When you're doing the springs, you might find that the
shocks need to be rebuilt/replaced as well. The rear springs are more
expensive than the fronts, but I found it to be an easier job because you
don't have the steering parts to deal with. Again, you can buy a kit with all
of the parts you'll probably need.

3 - The Peco big-bore exhaust is throaty. You can always punch a hole in the
exhaust pipe, add the "Type R" exhaust
(http://www.angelfire.com/nc2/mycoffeecan/page1.html) and call it a day.
