Yeah, I think that's where I got the idea.

I think a heavy chromed mesh would look classy on an A, rather like the
recent Jaguars and Bentleys.

But I understand that there might be objections from purists...

I can't say anything -- my 66 B has a 73 B grill (from the PO). I bought a
proper grill from Moss, but it won't fit in the opening -- too much body
filler. If I started chipping away at the bondo, I'm afraid there wouldn't
be any car left when I was done.
