Hi Everyone,
I may have the opportunity to acquire a 1969 MGC GT. I know the owner and he
has a TC and MGB in his garage also. He is turning 73 and says he has no time
to put the MGC together. The MGC has not been used for about 6 years because
the automatic transmission gave way. Most of the car is still in good order and
the body sound.
My questions are; May I swap a manual transmission while I work on the
automatic? Unlike the MGB, what is the parts availability like, considering
the MGC had a limited run?
I plan a show and go car a keeper too.
