Detach the hood (bonnet) support and tie a rope around the hood latch to
hold the hood open. Remove the radiator and radiator support panel. Remove
the shift lever. Jack up the front of the car and detach the tranny
cross-member from the frame. Detach the cross member from the transmission.
Pull the motor and transmission out and forward as one unit. As the
transmission tail shaft clears the floor, lower the front of the car while
lifting the motor & transmission unit to clear the bonnet latch panel.
