[Mgs] Sun Visor Blind Rivet Tool

I'm attempting to attach the rubber sun visor retainer to the windscreen
frame. The nose of my pop rivet (blind rivet) tool will not go deep enough
into the rubber piece to allow the fastener to be pulled into place. It's just
too wide.

What's the secret? Is there another tool available that will do the job?
