Several times on this list I have seen requests for ideas for events at
Morgan meets. Being the poorly organized soul that I am I can never put my
hands on material when I want it. Well thanks to my wife Susan insistence
that we clean out the attic I ran across lots of old Morgan stuff including
a game I devised for a meet several year ago.
I wanted something that everyone could play while the cars were displayed
for the concours.
Basically its' 'Find the Part'
Each participate is given a copy of a list of 20 parts and a book of Post-
it Notes* The object is to place a sticker with the number on the part. The
trick is that all parts are listed by the actual Morgan Factory name for
that part .
The group had great fun with the game. I did a analysis of the test
afterward and found all questions to be working ( ie: every question was
answered correctly and missed by someone,) and scores ranged from 55% to
95% correct.
So here's the test as presented .
20 Questions

Directions : Much like the the British, Morgan owners refer to the Hood as
the Bonnet, but what of the other parts of the car?
What follows is a list of twenty parts found on MOST Morgans. The names used
are the British proper name or the name use by the factory for the part.
You also have 20 stickers numbered 1 to 20. Place the corresponding number
on (or as close as possible) to the part. Not all Morgans will have all
parts . If your car does not have a listed part place the number for that
part on the steering wheel spoke and you will be given credit for knowing
that your car does not have that part.
You can not leave the area of your car until you have placed all stickers.
You may seek help from others willing to help but NO CHEATING by looking at
someone else car.
