I was a major in physics and did my doctoral work in Biomedical
Engineering before practicing medicine. This means I dont know much, but
I do remember in my Solid State Physics class in my senior year, we were
discusssing holes, or lack of a negative charge, moving in one direction,
and the shift in oribits and average areas of occupation of the
electrons, moving and making the holes.
This was some neat stuff, but to a sleepy medic, it was to much math!
