is this what your looking for?
this is termed an "upper Cross axle Brace' in the factory records for my
Super Sports.
I have more details but Cuthbert Twillie talks of different ways they are
done nowadays in his book
I made mine up as original by using mild steel, and 1 inch od pipe,
flattened with a vise, hammered and bent drilling top hole and then the
bottom to fit.
