Norm,
Pertronix should cost you around $75-80 discounted, more from Moss, but 
very reliable and easy to install as Tony and Ron have stated. I can't 
imagine not having it in the Elan because to replace the points, it's 
easier to remove the dizzy, it's such a tight fit under the carbs, 
though easy as pie on the TR6.
