,
I answered all those paint questions in the last few issues of THIS OLD
TRUCK. (7-98, 9-98,9-97,1-99.

I don't think sound deadener behind the seat will do much. A coat of
undercoat under your cab will help as will a floor mat with padding. I don't
like big floor mats because they hold water. Besides, I like to stay tuned
into what my engine is saying. The gas tank behind the seat is also a very
safe place for it. I addresed that in PICKUPS 'N PANELS IN PRINT June 98

email me off list if you want to get commercial. I'm in the restoration
business.

Hey Bob are you out there? I have a few ???'s for you. I would like to
know what I can put between the gas tank (behind the seat) and the back
of the cab for soundproofing (inflammable if there is such a thing).
Also, I want to get the body work and primer done but haven't yet
decided on the color(s) I want to paint it. How long can a vehicle go
(without causing more rust) before painting and what is the best process
to ensure good priming before painting? Thanks, CAthie
