Tech question regarding the driveshaft and gear ratios:

1.) What is the difference between an "open" and "closed" driveshaft?

2.) What gear ratios were used in the 3200 TFs? Same as 3100 (4:11)? Does it
depend on the year?

1 ton (3800) fully open drive shaft, 5.14 gears
