Folks,
I was away on travel last Friday and missed all the fun.

Harbor Freight is all over So. Cal. They have a business office in my area
and are hiring like crazy. These stores are fencing Chinese, Korean, and
Taiwanese tools. The prices are great if you like poor quality tools.
I have frequented several of their stores and have come home with a few
bulk items. I would steer away from hand tools such as ratchet sets, tap
and die sets, and other complex hand tools. In my experience, these tools
are second rate and should be avoided at any cost.
I do however like the idea of power tools at a discount. Their bench
grinders, engine stands, and floor jacks looked enticing.

All I say is: "buyer beware!!!!"

Last week a new store opened in our city, a Harbor Freight stroe. I had
seen
their catalogs and heard people talk about them, but never been in one.
Well, I went Saturday morning. I got there about an hour after opening and
saw about 50 or more pickups in the parking lot and knew I was in the right
place. I was pleased to find several things I had wanted and needed at
good
prices. I will be back many times in the future and look to them first
when
I need tools.
