I ordered an oak bedwood kit from one of the popular truck catalog
houses and it was actually shipped from Bruce Horkey. Quality was good.

I'm back again on this subject -- still in pursuit of the perfect wood
replacement for my bed. I appreciated the advice I got on my earlier
message. Has anyone on the list heard of or done business with an outfit in
Minnesota called "Bruce Horkey's Wood and Parts"? There's a helpful article
in this month's issue of Custom Classic Trucks about replacing bed wood in
old trucks, and they used wood supplied by Bruce Horkey's. Their prices are
a bit higher than most of the regular catalogs, but they carry a lot more
interesting woods than just Pine or Oak, including Ash, Cherry, etc. I'm
not trying to turn the bed into a piece of furniture, but think that
interesting wood would be cool. Let me know if you've ever heard of this
Bruce Hokey outfit. Thanks.
