Guess I gotta fess up. I spent a whole week putting my new original
taillights on my '47. Reason it too a whole week was that I wanted to have
the taillights function as taillights, brake lights, and turn signals. Had
to completely rebuild the entire inside of the taillights to do this (and to
use larger bulbs), and also had to rewire everything. Finally figured out
all the wiring, all the rebuilding of the taillights, etc. Finally got it
all finished with MUCH cussing and fussing, and when I attempting to put the
last lens in and finish the job, I dropped the lens on the concrete and it
shattered into about 10 pieces. $15 for a new blue dot taillight lens....to
replace the new one I already had. Shawn, I guess that's still much better
than being standed for 4 days with a snake.
Happy Holidays to all!
