This one's for you high-ridin' Napco drivers:
My in-law was driving his Chevy 4 x 4 (pseudo-monster truck) on the freeway
at what he describes as about 75 yards or so from the traffic in front of
him. He was cruising with his buddy about 60-65 when the traffic came to an
abrupt stop ahead. He said that he didn't slam on the brakes but rather
leaned on them firmly. The truck locked up immediately and spun across
three lanes with those big ole tires roaring. He described the truck as
teetering on two tires alternating from left to right side. Some gal in a
Honda got so frightened and focused on the carreening mass that she brushed
off of the center divider.
They finally can to rest pointing in the opposite direction in the #3 lane
(granny lane).
Needless to say, his buddy had to check his shorts afterwards!
