Besides what's in the shop manual, Put seals and gaskets on the shaft before
connecting U joint. Reuse leather seal instead of cork one at back of bell
where big knurled nut is. Be extra careful tightening 1/4" bolts to proper
torque. If replacing use grade 8. Use loctite on them. I wrote an article
called "Universal Joint Catastrophe" a long time ago because these U joints
fly apart at speed doing lots of damage. check inside of ball for damage.
