Hate to bear bad news but you will probably have to break up the camshaft to
get the lifters out. There's not room for vicegrips, the only way to jar
them loose is from the bottom.

There may be a "GM - NN" cast date in the block, otherwise the casting
number should match one of the numbers on the Inliners site
