The 848 head has a few less CC chamber volume, thus provides a bit higher
compression ratio. I think it's about 8:1.

Hi all,

I've been talking to a guy whos auctioning off a "848" head he asked me what
is so desireable about them?

I don't remember if it was compression ratio of valve size. Can anyone let
me know? He'd like to add it to the discription.

Now I wish I'd found this list before I rebuilt my head, cause I'd have been
looking for an 848.

thanks,John
