I bought the stainless bumpers from Jim Carter because I didn't want to deal
with chrome rusting or pitting or anything else.  The finish is excellent
but the difference is they (the stainless) are much thinner than the chrome
ones.  If you plan to go around pushing trees I wouldn't recommend the
stainless but if you are going to drive on the street like me then the
stainless are fine.
