Hi...

Orange peel can happen because of using the wrong reducer for the
ambient temperature...they sell different reducers for this reason.  If
it's 90 degrees out and you use 70 degree reducer, the reducer
evaporates before the paint gets to the surface, and it doesn't flow
like it should.

You should be able to color sand and paint it again.  Not sure what grit
to use, but 400 to 600 should do.
