Sorry to keep pestering ya'll, but I have another question. Since I
decided not to go with the Buick for a drive train for my 57 3/4t Chevy,
I've found a complete running 70 Chevy with a 350 and automatic for $500.
Seems like a good deal to me, as I can find all the parts I'll need to swap
engines and possible the trans too. The owner says he's had the truck most
of it's life, and had the engine professionally rebuilt some years back. It
has high miles and her thinks it may need a valve job.
Does this sound like a reasonable donor vehicle for upgrading my truck?
Ya'll had so many opinions on things I hadn't even thought about, I couldn't
help but ask again. As always, thanks for all the help and info. Take
