Happy D-Day Group,
In the spirit of true hotrodding, I have a question which I would like to
ask without offending those of our group who restore PUs. I'm doing one of
each, or trying to, so bear with me! Is there a f**d 9 inch rearend from a a
car, which has disc brakes, freeway speed gearing, and is the same width as
an AD truck? Would the bolt pattern be the "small" f**d, or large bolt
pattern? I'm in central CA., and the wrecking yards have everything, except
reliable advice! The Lincoln Versilles, for example, is equipt right, but is
the width of a TF truck. Suggestions? PS, Both of my toys are 50's.
