[oletrucks] Draining Gas tanks

Hi guys,
Well I consulted the Assembly manual, the Shop manual, the list archives,
and none say how to drain a gas tank.  I found some kind of valve looking
thing under the truck.  Is that it?  I can't crank the truck now, so I can't
just run it out of gas.  Pardon my ignorance, but gas can be dangerous and I
want to do this right.  Thanks,
