Rod--

The newer small blocks sometimes have the holes drilled and tapped, but
I've seen a few that didn't, so check it carefully. 

The harmonic damper may be too big, and not clear the mount
brackets...so check that also.  You can't use the 327 damper, it is too
small for the longer 350 stroke.  If needed, you can notch the brackets
to clear.
