Talking to a friend today about my search for pre '54 NAPCO stuff and he
brought up some pretty interesting information.
I told him how I live near a wrecking yard full of vintage D*dge 4X4 stuff.
He says there were several companies other than NAPCO also offering 4X4
conversions. Though most were geared more towards the larger rigs or military
applications, some did offer pickup sized conversions. I went back to the
wrecking yard today, and one of the companies he mentioned, Coleman, made all
the dodge front differerntials I looked at. I'm wondering if anyone can
confirm or deny if coleman or any other company besides NAPCO made 4X4
conversions for the chev/GMC trucks?
