I keep the I beams under my trucks.  
When I visited Israel last Feb the tour bus was a Mercedes 16 passenger.  It 
had an I beam axle.  Negotiated some rough roads very well and gave an 
excellent ride.  I never had any inclination to upgrade my axles.
